Vaporizer

Description

A terrifying aerial ARC machine introduced in the Flashpoint update. The Vaporizer combines the speed of a Rocketeer with a Matriarch-grade energy shield and precision laser attacks that will obliterate your shield and set you on fire in under two seconds. It patrols the airspace around ARC Operations and Close Scrutiny events. Killing it drops the Vaporizer Regulator required to craft the Dolabra energy shotgun.

Behavior

The Vaporizer stays airborne using eight small rotors (two per corner, similar to a Snitch) and patrols with unpredictable movement patterns. It engages with devastating precision laser attacks that deal heavy sustained damage and can set players on fire. When rotors are destroyed, its speed drops and altitude lowers, making it more vulnerable. Its wreckage splits into 2-3 separate loot nodes upon death — missing one means potentially losing a Vaporizer Regulator.

• 1Priority one: pop the rotors. Destroying rotors reduces speed and forces the Vaporizer to drop altitude, making the belly core accessible.
• 2Use the Hullcracker for raw damage output — it was designed to crack ARC plating and the Vaporizer frame responds to it. The Aphelion is excellent for precision rotor sniping.
• 3The Vaporizer only spawns near ARC Operations and Close Scrutiny events. Prepare your loadout before engaging.
• 4Its wreckage splits into 2-3 loot nodes. Check every piece — missing one could cost you a Vaporizer Regulator.
