Pop

Description

Small rolling explosive ARC balls that rush toward detected players and detonate on contact. Their spherical design allows them to roll at surprising speed across flat terrain. The explosion radius is larger than their tiny size would suggest.

Behavior

Pops activate upon player detection and immediately begin rolling toward the target at accelerating speed. They emit an increasingly high-pitched whine as they approach, then detonate on proximity or contact. Once locked on, they cannot be dissuaded and will pursue relentlessly until destroyed or detonated.

• 1Shoot Pops at range the moment you spot them. Their explosion can seriously wound or down you if they reach melee range.
• 2The rising whine pitch tells you how close they are to detonation. If it peaks, you are too close.
• 3Pop explosions damage other nearby ARCs. Lure them toward enemy groups for improvised area damage.
• 4Use elevated terrain when possible. Pops roll on the ground and struggle with vertical obstacles.
