Bastion

Description

Siege-class 4-legged ARC tank with a massive turret mounted on top. Bastions are walking fortresses with heavy frontal armor and a powerful main cannon. They are among the most imposing non-boss enemies in the game and require focused team fire to bring down efficiently.

Behavior

Bastions advance slowly but relentlessly, firing their main turret cannon at player positions. The cannon deals massive direct damage and has a small splash radius. They periodically stomp the ground to stagger nearby players. Their four armored legs carry them at a walking pace but they never stop advancing. The yellow leg joints and rear canister glow faintly, revealing the weak points.

• 1Focus fire on the yellow leg joints to deal bonus damage. Hitting the legs also slows its advance.
• 2The rear canister is the highest damage weak point. Coordinate with teammates to flank while it faces another player.
• 3Do not stand in front of a Bastion. Its main cannon will chunk most of your health in a single hit.
• 4Bring armor-piercing or heavy weapons. Light ammo bounces off its frontal plating with minimal effect.
